Hi my name is Abner Garza I'm 27 years old and I currently work at Educational Service District 123. My career at ESD123 has inspired my creative and technical side. At ESD123 you will see me along with the technology team doing web design, web developing, developing server side technologies, creating and maintaining server infrastructure, software support, and plain old good tech support. After work you will find me spending time with my wife and 1 month old along with honing my php and css skills. Although web designing was always just a hobby of mine I pursued many creative web design classes in my college career, but because Eastern Washington University did not have a solid web design/developer major I decided to major in Business and Technology.
Accomplishing my degree was a journey, like any college student my college career did not start down the path I ended up. My first venture was a Automotive technology degree which I completed and then decided I wanted an office job which would never happen with auto tech, so I enrolled myself into Eastern Washington University. Working in a computer lab with 20 different techs, engineers, designers, and geeks I learned more than I ever did in one of my classes. Eastern's computer lab was full of latest technologies in creating and editing video, recording studio for music and vocals, and over 80 top of the line computers fully loaded with the best software. This lab is what brought out my inner web designer, I began in flash and moved to html as backwards as that sounds. I now have discovered dynamic php and love to develop in Joomla! content management system.
